The OBSTA's Air Navigation Obstacle Warning Light Activities have been originated within CLAUDE Company in 1948. 
This was the natural development of CLAUDE's R&D works on Electrical Discharges in rare gas. OBSTA is a subsidiary 
of CITEL group specialized in manufacturing gas discharge tubes and complete surge protection system for AC power,

OBSTA is using 3 technologies: cold neon discharge and LED for red lights, xenon for white flashing lights.
All optics and enveloppe of obsta lights are 100% hard glass.

Cold neon discharge light: For more than 50 years, OBSTA is manufacturing long life red obstruction lights 
FAA L810 and ICAO low intensity based on cold neon discharge technology. This technology offers robustness,
very long duration life and low power consumption.
For high voltage line, the BALISOR® neon light is an world-wide exclusive product from OBSTA.
Led NAVILITE: OBSTA is manufacturing a complete range of LED obstruction light L810 and low intensity type.
Xenon flashing light: OBSTA propose also a complete range of white xenon flashing lights medium intensity
type and high intensity type.

The Products are designed to suite International Specifications, either International Civil Aviation Organisation 
(ICAO), FAA and STAC.
