The NAVILITE HI falls into the category of low intensity type B defined by the ICAO and FAA L810 (i.e. it generates more than 32,5 candelas).
The navilite series have been designed to replace incandescent obstruction lighting fixures with LED technology or for obstacle like cranes, wind masts, buildings...
Theorically at 20°C, LED lifetime can be as long as 100 000 hours. In reality, lifetime of LEDs depends on many conditions that include ambient temperature, electro-magentic fields and power supply design. The NAVILITE is one-piece moulded assembly which includes 12 levels of LEDs and the wiring connectors. The concept of molding LED allows excellent heat dissipation and is perfectly waterproof.
